When you see a list of songs with rock in the title, it's natural to assume that all of them are rock 'n roll songs. After all, why else would the word "rock" be used, right?

But if you sift through the songs below, you might be surprised that many songs actually refer to a literal rock. I know that doesn't sound interesting, but it reflects the creativity of songwriters.

Some of them manage to write a vivid description of a rock, making it sound like the most fascinating thing in the world. Others use it as a metaphor in ways you will probably never think of on your own.

But of course, the highlight of this list are rock songs that have stood the test of time. It's crazy how many songwriters seem to be obsessed with the word "rock," not the least of which is the iconic rock band, AC/DC. They have close to two dozen songs with rock in the title. Without question, nobody will deny that they're rock stars to the core.

Whether you love listening to rock songs or simply want a geeky list, here are some of the best songs with rock in their titles.
