In trying to come up with my ten favorite worships songs, I couldn't. That's why this is a list of my eleven favorites. The following are all songs that, when I hear them, put me straight into ,worship mode, singing along with music and remembering all the blessings God has bestowed upon me. You have some really nices choices of music, as a Catholic choir singer with two choirs and two fundamentally different musical approaches one being Classical the other being contemporary, I have the pleasure of singing and performing both kinds of music, and I enjoy both respectively.
Thank you Cari for showcasing some great worship songs--When my younger son called me from the pavement after being thrown from his motorcycle which was hit by a car running a red light, I punched in "King of Glory" and prayed and praised God for a miracle as I sped to the scene. I asked that both he and his fiancé would be spared. When I got there the paramedics were there and although he was thrown several feet without his helmet, and she ten feet away, abrasions and a few broken bones were their only injuries. His head never hit the pavement and the massive motorcycle following them and spinning out of control between the two of them, miraculously missed them entirely. He is the King of Glory.
Thanks for this list. I am a worship leader, and you have included some that I don't know at all! I will enjoy checking into them ASAP.
This is great! I too love these songs, especially Mighty to Save and Breathe!! Actually I just published a hub including the song Mighty To Save; it always encourages me when I remember His mighty power and how He is gracious enough to save me even when I screw up daily or face difficulities in life.
The songs I like most are Shout to the Lord, Mighty to Save and Yours. I love to listen to Christian music. Thanks for sharing this to your readers.
Have a great week!
