10 Modern Worship Songs on the Cross of Jesus Christ
We can all turn to the Cross of Jesus Christ to receive forgiveness from God. The Cross is there to help us understand God's plan for mankind and receive His everlasting love.
Many hymns like "The Old Rugged Cross," "Near the Cross," "At the Cross," "There is Power in the Blood," and others have opened my heart to understand how our Lord poured out his soul for us when He gave us His only Son. Songs venerating the Cross should be sung every Sunday and in services during the week, not just for Easter.
Here are 10 worship songs about Jesus' Cross that have touched my heart and helped me always to remember the purpose of Christ's death—his sacrifice and love for all.

Worship leaders, Brian and Jenn Johnson from Bethel Church in Redding, CA, sing a wonderfully beautiful song about how we must never forget the ultimate price Jesus paid for our salvation.
I will not forget the cross, the pain that You endured for us
Where You carried brokenness and shame
Never to forget the day Your love broke through to make a way
For hope to rise within my heart again
What would I have done if it wasn't for Your love
The love that tore the veil inside my heart
What would I have become if it wasn't for Your blood
The blood You gave for all on the cross."
