What's the Difference Between Soul and Country Line Dances?
Soul or urban line dances such as the wobble, cupid shuffle, cha cha slide, zydeco slide, biker's shuffle, or booty call are similar to country line dances except they use soul, funk, r&b, gospel, hip-hop or contemporary pop music.
Nowadays, urban line dancing is more than just the electric slide or cupid shuffle. There are literally hundreds of great dances to learn that are being created throughout the country. Unlike specialized hip-hop dances, soul line dances can be done by people of all ages, shapes, and sizes.

I teach line dances and often the groups I teach them to are folks who have never danced before. I can use several of these dances for those kinds of events. And you've given me a "lens idea" LOL... I'm off to start work on it. *grin*
