So many people in the comments section denying reality just 'cause they clearly came to k-pop like months ago and got dazzled by BTS's recent success. Let's be real here: k-pop isn't about the last two years, k-pop has a history of decades, and there's more to k-pop than just BTS and their Billboard, period. You should be proud of them for being in a list among names like H.O.T, G.O.D, Big Bang, Super Junior and even EXO, which you must respect since they are very successful sunbaes to your favs.

BTS is gaining a name in k-pop history but you should realise by now that they still have a way to go because it's not only about coming to some western shows, appearing in some western news or twitter and suddenly you are the #1 artist. Things just don't work out that way.

i'm an elf but i think bts should be in the top 5 or at least top 10. They really successful right now. Suju are the one who introduce kpop to the world but bts also spread them more widely. They win billboard and made a debut stage in ama. i think they deserves to be in the top 5. Many people got into kpop because of bts (like most of my friends). I d0nt want to start a fanwar whis is just my opinion.

Funny how BTS was 14th and then you see the votes. Anyways... We should give BlackPink some more popularity they deserve like their MVs are spectacular, the clothes, the dancing. TBH the list can keep going on an on. Plus they debuted in 2016 so they are pretty new. And I'm not even going to go into BTS in the USA, like what?? SO proud!

14 & 15 makes list very beautiful. BTS and INFINITE

I don't know why but I can notice so many similarities between 2 groups.

Dance ability,Both are from small companies, Both groups are ACE of their companies. Visual members with letter names, Both Sunggyu and Rapmon are Genius leaders, Top dancer couples HOYA, Dongwoo and J-HOPE,Jimin. And even they have many of similar song titles in non titled traks as well as INFINITE 2015 release DNA Japanese MV and BTS 2017 realese DNA MV,

Also Jungkook passed the Wooliment audition once. And many more. +

SM entertainment cute off INFINITE's freedom while their career peak. They own wooliment label at that time. Also rumoured SM behind the MAMA voting unfair thing to BTS.

i think we should stop these fanwars right now and i think many people are agreeing too....i appreciate the fact tht kpop is growing alot nowadays and fans are trying to bring their group to the top (especially ARMYs and EXO-Ls)...every band has a different style and a unique personality becuz of which they are gaining fans but that means that u should mind ur own business and just stick to ur own fav band and not interfering into others love or hate for a not saying that u shouldnt defend ur favourite band..just dont type stupid stuff that may make the situation talking about this list of just making this clear it says BEST SELLING and NOT best group....BTS and EXO are both really popular right now and i myself am an army(but i love exo as well) everyone might have their own opinions !!;)

EXO are actually kind of the saviours of k pop. They are the only big group trying to create variations and experimenting with new genres where the other popular groups are still doing same genre again and again as they are afraid 2 try out new things.

BTS have a bright future ahead of them, and it's only a matter of time before they become the new generation's representation of kpop.

EXO have had a head start than BTS and also have the big 3 privilege. This is why it's no question that EXO is one of the best selling groups. BTS is a group that did not receive this leverage in the kpop industry, but have already left their footprint as they've marked history with their achievements. EXO have also done this with their award winnings.

EXO have reached their peak, and will continue to do well.

BTS, however, have boomed in popularity, and have not reached their peak. With all eyes on them, it's obvious that their sales will explode and they'll without a doubt have a bright future. Perhaps a future where EXO don't even become competition.

Lots of people are saying that BTS can't even be considered to EXO, but if fans have to argue about this then you've only just proved this otherwise!

BTS have a bright future ahead of them, and it's only a matter of time before they become the new generation's representation of kpop.

Great job to all of these groups though, it's difficult maintaining a good musical sound.

These comments are funny because they all say BTS should be first just because below votes. But overall and in general Exo is just more successful considering their sales and in general. I am not hating I am just saying that BTS only got popular after their Wings Album. But Exo was popular way back, before Wings Exo was still popular. They've been popular since Wolf and Growl in 2013 and 2014. So... Exo for the win.

Don't trust the album sales figures for DSP Entertainment/Media they have a reputation for under reporting album sales to avoid paying taxes. I am kinda glad DSP is not one of the biggest labels anymore as they ruined so many good groups.

I love EXO and BTS but I don't think they're on the level of BIGBANG. Well... even though I'm not a fan of Bigbang, I have to admit that this group is much more talented. (This is my opinion) And believe me, it huts to admit it especially when you're not a fan of the group ^^'

So you see the thing is armys are just supporting our faves just giving their opinions not looking down on other fandoms by commenting bad things ..... if you consider "why isnt bts no 1?" As looking down on other idols i have no words to mainly exo-l stop commenting about ARMYS LIKE THAT WERE JUST SUPPORTING OUR FAVES

Block B isn't on the list, but their music sells really well in SK, it gets downloaded a lot. Their fandom is a bit smaller, but their music makes a lot of money.

They shouldn't 'kill themselves'. They're just expressing how much they like that group. It might be annoying, but you shouldn't tell people to kill themselves because of that.
