1. BTS

When it comes to fame and success, there's no K-pop group out there today that can beat BTS. They are one of the most influential groups on the internet, and they continue to break their own chart-topping songs and YouTube records. The Guinness Book of World Records reported that thee music video for their song "Idol" is the most viewed music video online within a 24 hour period. The video achieved 50 million views on the first day of its release. They were also the first K-pop presenters at the Grammy Awards, making a historic performance and gaining worldwide recognition for being the first K-pop act to reach the number one spot on the U.S. album charts. Their net worth is in the millions. They are one of the highest paid boy groups in the industry today.

Nobody can escape the dominating effect of BTS. However, regardless of their overwhelming popularity, the group's members (RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook) remain humble and down-to-earth. Armies believe that they enjoy the brotherly love and support of one another. As a group, they have a playful and dorky personality that is so hard to resist.

Some Famous BTS Songs

  • "Idol" (2018)
  • "DNA" (2018)

They are the highest-charting female K-pop act on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200. They are also the first female K-pop group to perform at the 2019 Coachella Festival in California.

What makes Blackpink unique? It's their powerful and flashy style that rejects the common image of a girl group. Girl groups usually dress cute and project bubbly personalities. Jisoo, Rose, Lisa, and Jennie have successfully established the "girl power" hip-hop image, a style that had never been seen before in K-pop. Since their debut, Blackpink has never failed to amaze the world with their music. They also wowed the Blinks with their song "Kiss and Make Up," which is a collaboration with the English singer, Dua Lipa. The song climbed the U.K. Singles Chart in 2018.

Their smooth transition is a proof that these girls can do anything in a great way.

In 2018, their song "Power Up" brought them what people call the "perfect all-kill." This means that for the first time in their careers, they topped all of the South Korean music charts. We're going to miss Wanna One. They're a cheerful, bright, and awesome boy band. The group's contract ended on December 31, 2018. 10. Seventeen

You have to respect this band's work ethic. They are known as a "self-producing idol group." The thirteen members of the group are praised for being actively involved in the songwriting and choreography of their songs and music videos. The group is not your typical boy band, because it consists of thirteen members divided into three sub-units, each with a different area of specialization. These include a hip-hop unit, a vocal unit, and a performance unit. Each unit has to work hard to make a perfect performance. Their hard work is paying off, causing them to grown in popularity and resulting in increased recognition. While they're not as big as Blackpink or Twice, they surely make good music! Recently, they had their first music show win on SBS FunE's "The Show" with their song "No." The song also debuted at No. 5 on Billboard's World Albums chart, which is the group's highest entry yet. 13. Ateez

Ateez had just debuted last year, but their recent performances are something remarkable. After seeing their strong potential, I'm sure this group is going to make a big break this year. With their signature sound and well-polished dance moves, they don't look like an average rookie K-pop group. The eight members of the group are Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. If you're wondering why they're called Ateez, it stands for "A Teenager Z."

They started the year causing a lot of hype. Their energetic performance on Mnet's M2 Relay Dance series, where they slayed the stage with the relay dance of their song "HALA HALA (Hearts Awakened, Hearts Alive)." This a track is off their second mini-album Treasure EP 2: Zero to One.
