Romantic Bachata Songs
Bachata is a super sensual and romantic dance, especially when you dance bachata to these songs! Dancing bachata can be a very touching experience, and just listening to the music by itself can also be very rewarding. This is a great playlist for romantic evenings with your significant other, dancing or otherwise.
I hope that you will feel inspired and moved by the passion of bachata.
The songs are listed in alphabetical order by song name. I've included my own English translation of some of the songs for your convenience. I'm always updating the songs on this list, so check back regularly to discover a new song!

1. "Corazon Sin Cara" by Prince Royce ("Love without a Face")
"Corazón sin cara" literally means "heart without a face," however "corazón" can also mean "love." In this song Prince Royce sings about how love is blind and doesn't have a face because when you're in love, physical appearance doesn't matter. He says that it doesn't matter what the girl looks like and that it's all the same to him. He admits that he isn't perfect and has his own flaws as well, but none of that is important when it comes to love.
The only problem he has with the girl is that he is upset with her for thinking that she is ugly, and he tells her that that isn't true and she is beautiful, even without makeup, etc. It is a very sweet song about loving people for who they are, rather than what they look like.
This song is from his CD "Prince Royce."
2. "Darte un Beso" by Prince Royce ("Give You a Kiss")
This is a very sweet song about how the singer is in love with a girl but is not allowed to be near her or touch her. He complains about how the situation is so unnecessarily complicated. All he wants to do is just give her a kiss ("un beso"). He sings how he really wants to be with her and will do just about anything to make it happen and gladly give up the world for her. He wants to just love her and spend all of his mornings waking up to her, singing to her to calm her fears, and making sure she never wants for anything.
This song is on the CD "Soy El Mismo."
3. "Nina de mi Corazon" by Karlos Rose
I love this song because its really romantic. The title of the song translated into English means "Girl of My Heart." He sings about how the girl is the one that he's always dreamed about and that he wants to love her and take care of her. He sings about how his love for her grows everyday and that he thanks God everyday that Fate put her in his life. He also says things like that she smells like a beautiful fragrant garden. I like that the lyrics are really sweet and gentle and show how much he appreciates having her in his life.

4. "Incondicional" ("Unconditional") by Prince Royce
The song "Incondicional" (also going by "Soy Incondicional") means "Unconditional" or "I'm Unconditional" and Prince Royce is singing about his unconditional love for a girl. He says he will keep loving her in spite of all the pain and suffering. He has cried so many times and it hurts, but he will keep fighting for their love. He says that their love is true and that it will survive: no matter what, it will never die. True love doesn't judge or blame, and it has no schedule or sense of time. Love may suffer but it always forgives.
It is a very beautiful song about the intensity and strength of true love and how it is always worth fighting for and that you should never give up on it.
This song is from his CD "Phase II."
5. "Las Cosas Pequenas" by Prince Royce
I love the song "Las Cosas Pequenas" by Prince Royce because he talks about all of the little things that make up love. He talks about how it's important to remember to say "I love you" and "I miss you" and to kiss and hug each other. He also talks about how her smile and the way that she looks at him are priceless and that nothing is worth more than one of her kisses. The point of the song is how all of the little day-to-day things make up love and how it is important to treasure them.
6. "Mi Santa" by Romeo Santos (Translation: "My Saint")
"Mi Santa" means "My Saint" and in the case of this song, it refers to a woman that he adores and idolizes because she is so pure and wonderful that he believes that she is a saint. His love for her is so intense that it borders on religiosity. He makes several sacrilegious claims, such as that he would sell his soul to the Devil if it would promise him her love in return, making love with her is a sacrament, and that her body and her blood are his bread and wine. Essentially he is treating loving her as a new type of religion because he feels so intensely about her and his love is so immense that it overwhelms every other aspect of his life.
7. "Nada" by Prince Royce
8. "Solo Por Un Beso" by Aventura ("Only for a Kiss")
"Solo Por Un Beso" means "only for a/one kiss" and describes how passionately the singer feels about this amazing woman he is madly in love with and how kissing her would be pure ecstasy and would make him feel like he was in heaven. He sings about how her touch electrifies his senses and how he can't stop thinking about her. He says that kissing is universal for friendship, sex, and love and that you don't need religion or anything to understand or explain it. This song is about kissing and how amazing and sensual it is.
9. "Todo Mi Amor Eres Tu (I just Can't Stop Loving You)" by Toby Love
10. "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by Leslie Grace
This song is basically a Spanglish cover version of the American song "Will You Still Tomorrow," which has been performed by numerous artists in English. Leslie Grace sticks to the original lyrics more or less in English, and just translates the rest into Spanish.

Thank you for your feedback. Romeo Santos is so popular and everyone knows his songs really well, so I decided to focus on other artists besides him for this list. I could very easily make a best bachata songs playlist and have it all be Romeo Santos.

Thanks for your feedback Amy and I understand your concern, I did the best romantic bachata songs and I find that these artists are my personal favorites and I always hear their music whenever I go out bachata dancing. I know that there is Dominican style bachata with a different sound and feel, but I don't really like it that much. I prefer this romantic style of bachata more and it was really Aventura and Romeo Santos that pioneered this style of bachata and made it more mainstream. Monchy y Alexandra, Zacarias Ferreira, Yoskar Sarante, Frank Reyes, and all those guys are really great, don't get me wrong, but I feel that Aventura/Romeo Santos and Prince Royce are better at setting the romantic mood because their music is a little bit slower and lets you gets your bachata on hot and heavy ;)
Amy on November 27, 2014:
Definitely not the best music of bachata....This is only modern bachata pop. Try some better stuff out!
Jon on July 03, 2014:
