Nathan Bernardo

My main area of expertise is martial arts. I earned a 2nd Degree Black Belt in the Parker/Planas lineage of Kenpo from Master Charles Epperson whose teacher is Grandmaster Richard "Huk" Planas. I also have a 3rd Class Brown in Doces Pares under Grandmaster Cacoy Canete and Master Anthony Kleeman. I trained with Professor James Muro in DeCuerdas Eskrima also. I taught Kenpo at my instructor's school for four years and have also taught martial arts for staff at workplaces where self defense training was needed and to my clients who have disabilities.

I have worked in the Human Services field since 1996, helping those with physical and developmental disabilities. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science back in 1995. At that time, I almost had a Paralegal Certificate but decided to graduate without it. In 2019, I did an internship to finish the requirements for the certificate, so now I'm a Paralegal but have not secured work in the field.
