Born and raised in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia, music has always been the focal point of my life. From whatever came on the radio in the car with my mom on the way to school when I was younger, to the punk rock bands of my teenage-angst years, to my "hippie" phase where reggae was the only genre found on my iPod. But today I have finally found the kind of music where my passion runs deeper than anything else in my life: electronic dance music, more commonly known as EDM. I frequently attend concerts, watch interviews, study different producers of all genres, and keep up with what's going on in this rapidly growing underground music culture. I cover numerous sub-genres of EDM such as: dubstep, trap, drum and bass, trance, house, deep electro, moombahton, glitch hop, and much more. My pure love for this music is easily recognizable when reading the posts on my blog. It's the one aspect of my life that I honestly don't think I could live without. It's not just beats, melodies, and lyrics to me. Every song changes me both spiritually and emotionally. If you haven't explored this genre already, give it a try and let me know what you think! I'm always curious to know how others feel about this music.
